Roots and Wings by Chantey Dayal

We are excited to announce that Chantey Dayal, a Creatributor from Vancouver Island’s Cowichan Valley, has completed Roots and Wings, an original work that she created through a series of video episodes on imagine1day’s blog. She is offering 100 limited edition 24”x24” prints just in time for the holiday season.

In Chantey’s words, “I set out to create a painting which spoke about unfolding, growth, freedom, and togetherness. This painting is all about the most important gift which we can give to a child: roots and wings. The tree is the provider of shade and fruit and possibility; has the ability to let go each fall and regenerate each spring. The bird’s wings carry the wind and help to pollinate and spread seeds. Seven large leaves represent the seven continents, all of which are ultimately from the same place.”

Chantey has partnered with Francis Sullivan and the team at Digital Direct Printing (www.digitaldirectprinting.com) and would like to thank them for their generous support.
