They will share stories of challenge, failure and how they became the successful people they are today.SHIFTED exposes the opportunities created from difficult setbacks and events that result in a shift in someone’s life. This event creates the opportunity for people to think about challenge in a new way and be inspired, while supporting imagine1day and educational efforts in Ethiopia. As a result of the learning and development shift that occurs in Vancouver, an educational shift will occur in Ethiopia. Through this event, we will raise $10,000 for imagine1day’s efforts in Ethiopia by selling 200 tickets at $50 each. - SHIFTED is a space to share personal stories of defeat and victory and to expose people to ideas that reveal new possibilities for their lives. SHIFTED is an exchange of value, impacting the community to take action in their own lives while contributing to educational development in Ethiopia. The ultimate goal is to have SHIFTED become an annual event in Vancouver, and eventually, all across North America.
